 By Norah Bear

Hence, should one decide to apply for a job, a careful consideration whether or not this will help realize one’s desired career must be had. Lest, such time and effort will certainly just be spent for a mere job without a career job. But due to scarcity of jobs, some people just take on the agony of working without a clear career path since they’ve got nothing else in terms of employment. The need to put up food and shelter takes higher priority than starting one’s own career. Ergo, those who are already employed for a job not related to one’s career path should consider modifying his or her career plans. Resigning from said job might just be a worst decision even if this means having time to implement your career plan since employment is not always available nowadays more so for employment that directly contributes to your desired career.

Thus, employment is best considered with perspectives about your career plans. However, our sad reality sometimes pushes us to reconsider our plans hence the reverse of the same can be done - upon employment, you begin sketching your career path. In this way, one can always find a career out of their job. Careers in every employment is always possible given one’s creativity, passion, and perserverance.
